HTS and its allied militias are rampaging through Syria, killing members of minority religious sects, mutilating corpses, burning houses and forcing entire villages to flee.

This Washington Post article has valuable reporting but is aimed at doing damage control for HTS (rebranded Al-Qaeda), claiming it's "struggling to contain" the killings rather talking from both sides of its mouth.
