BREAKING: The new Governor of Damascus:
“It is understandable that Israel felt concerned when a new Syrian government came to power.
Perhaps Israel felt afraid, so it advanced a little and bombed a little.
We have no fear of Israel, and our issue is not with Israel.
We do not want to interfere in anything that threatens Israel’s security.
There are people who want coexistence, who want peace, and who do not want conflicts.”
In response, the media office of Syria’s administration stated: “Some of the governor’s remarks may not reflect the official stance of the state on foreign affairs.”
