There's a war for our minds. I always say the great awakening is more spiritual than anything, but just to focus on the psychological aspect of the war - everything centers around Knowledge.
Knowledge of good and evil. The people are free from their brainwashing when their knowledge of the evils catches up with their lack of understanding of why things are so terrible for the world. Everyone whether they know it or not deep down knows this world and life shouldn't be this dark. Unlocking truth.

The exposure that the mind needs centers around seeing that these people at the top of society worship evil and chaos. When someone sees that the person they've looked up to all their life is involved in crimes against children, it triggers an appropriate anger.
The great awakening had to tear down the correlation people had with celebrities being so above them like they were god's of the Earth. There's something to be said about energy and giving power to people through how high we see them.
