I see I'm going to have to explain this, since people are showing me they're confused about it.
There are two types of pardons: pardons for specific individuals and group pardons where individual names DO NOT APPEAR ON IT.
The first type of pardon names a SPECIFIC PERSON and the offense/offenses for which they are being pardoned.
The second type of pardon names NO ONE IN PARTICULAR, it specifies a certain group known only generally.
Right now, certain large accounts on here are DEMANDING that Trump and Vance issue a very general, very nonspecific blanket pardon for everyone involved in J6.
These accounts either don't understand the very real problems with a broad blanket pardon for something like J6 - or they're trying to get legal cover for the federal embeds that Trump, Kash and Bondi fully intend to expose to prosecution for what they did that day once the Trump administration is in power.
For now, both Trump and Vance are STRONGLY RESISTING the calls for the issuance of a very general blanket pardon with no specific names on it.
I AGREE WITH THEIR DECISION NOT TO ISSUE A BLANKET J6 PARDON.
EVERY PARDON ISSUED FOR J6 MUST HAVE A SPECIFIC PERSON'S NAME ON IT. These must be done on a case by case basis.
I do not want any of the bad actors from the federal agencies and from overseas from places like Ukraine who were instigating violence and provoking peaceful protestors inadvertently being able to wrangle themselves legal cover from a too-broadly worded blanket general pardon.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME that every single person who helped plan and execute that J6 Fedsurrection be exposed, prosecuted and justly punished in the courts.
And I will **never** yield on this point.
In freeing the J6 prisoners, we must be careful not to end up denying some of them JUSTICE later when Trump and Bondi and Kash are trying to send their federal provocateurs to prison.
You do want to see THOSE people go to prison, don't you?
I know I do.
