Mijn bevindingen in het Engels op X:
My personal takeaway from last night's Trump vs Harris debate.
Let me start by saying I got yet another glimpse of what normies deem important and how much the MSM keep people distracted from what's really going on at home and in the world.
This means that Trump entered his opponent's carefully constructed media bubble and not vice versa. The Great Awakening is still a far cry away and Trump must tread very carefully and exercise great caution in not speaking too many truths and not being too mean and badass.
That said, Trump held his own very well during the debate. Here are some points I feel he did particularly well.
He immediately put the whole Project 2025 thing to bed, which the Dems are desperately trying to pin on him. He made it absolutely clear he has nothing to do with it and is in no way associated with it. Period. End of story.
According to Trump, an end to the Ukraine-Russia war is in America's interest. Trump said he would bring about an end to the war as president-elect, even before he's in the White House, and that only he can do this.
Trump predicted the end of Israel if the Dems stay in power, thus implying that the continued and unlimited military assistance to Israel is ineffective and will lead to its inevitable demise. Isn't it interesting that with just a fraction of the military means Iran and Yemen have they pose such an existential threat to Israel? Is Trump saying that Iran and Yemen's retalliatory strikes will be highly effective and will spell the beginning of the end for Israel?
My debate moment was when it was Trump's turn to respond and Kamala tried to interrupt him off mic. Trump reminded her that he was talking and added "sound familiar"? Not only did he put this 'boss bitch' in her place, but this was a direct reference to her "I'm speaking" campaign moment, where she cut off pro-Palestinian activists in the audience. Was this a veiled show of support by Trump for pro-Palestinian voices which are being ignored by this administration?
Trump said that Biden was cast aside as POTUS "like a dog" by the Dems. Shortly after that he made the remark that it's unclear whether Biden is even alive or not. Dog comms? Can we expect a state funeral pretty soon?
Kamala tried pulling a few what I call 'feminist faces', one of which was leaning with her chin on her hand with her eyebrows raised in an attempt to shame Trump. This fell completely flat and she gave it up almost as soon as she made that fake posture.
In fact, it was Trump's alpha male leadership qualities which allowed him to be allotted more time to speak than was officially his through frequent rebuttals, which - surprisingly - were allowed. When Kamala tried doing the same, Trump had already used up so much extra time that the moderators cut Kamala off because she was interupting the carefully timed schedule of this televised debate. Thus Trump almost invariably had the last word.
It was a good thing that Trump was also able to present his closing arguments last. He attacked Biden and Harris for being "the worst president and vice president in history" and kept bringing home the fact that they are one and the same and that Kamala will be a continuation of the same disastrous socialist policies that have hurt America ever since Trump left office. BOOYAH!
Overall, I would say Trump won the debate. But he didn't crush Kamala, so there's still work to be done on the campaign trail to unmask her carefully crafted fake media persona.
As I said, Trump entered the world of Harris and her cronies in the media and not the other way around. For someone who was on 'enemy territory' he did just fine, but it would be so much easier if the viewing audience would pop their own bubble and saw things for what they are instead of being told to see things in a certain way. The media truly is the enemy of the people.
