So the Biden admin has finally thrown in the towel on the Gaza ceasefire they were never serious about securing. They could have ended the genocide with a single phone call, but that would have required defying the Zionist billionaire class underwriting Kamala's campaign, as well as so many downticket candidates. If they had ever hoped to exert any leverage, they forfeited it when self-described Irish Zionist Joe Biden bear-hugged Netanyahu eleven months ago, and Tony Blinken, the grandson and stepson of major Israel lobbyists, announced that he was traveling to Tel Aviv "as a Jew." And so Israel has been able to escalate at every turn, while Netanyahu sabotaged negotiations and defied his own citizens clamoring for a hostage deal. Biden and Blinken not only surrendered to Bibi, too cowed to do anything but leak whimpering criticism to the media, they gave Israel carte blanche – and seemingly infinite ammunition – to tear thousands of children to shreds and transform ordinary consumer goods into instruments of mass death. Now, unnamed US officials acknowledge to the WSJ that Israel's exploding battery terror attack in Lebanon has placed a ceasefire out of reach. As though the apartheid state whose leadership immediately announced their intentions to conduct a "Nakba 2.0" was going to do anything other than psychotic, high tech Ed Gein-style ops with the intention of inflaming a regional war and drawing the US directly into the conflict. The Biden admin has just presided over one of the worst diplomatic disasters in recent history, and the damage is far from done.
