Halach is the body of jewish law supplementing the scriptural law and forming especially the legal part of the Talmud. How many times have we heard jews say the Talmud is just a bunch of boring old legal debates & a lot of the old "crazy" & "controversial" teachings in it don't really have any bearing on jews anymore?
Tell that to the millions of innocents in Gaza and throughout the Middle East being slaughtered by the jewish war mongers--literally on the basis of the rabbis' modern interpretations of the Talmud.
