DeSantis Seeks to Hold Twitter's Board of Directors Accountable for Breaching Their Fiduciary Duty

"And the question is, why would you reject the 20% premium? I don't think that was a rejection based on financial concerns or business judgment. They rejected it because they know they can't control Elon Musk; they know that he will not accept the narrative and that their little play toy of Twitter would not be used to enforce orthodoxy and to basically prop up the regime and these failed legacy media outlets... So we're going to be looking at ways that the state of Florida, potentially, can [hold] these Twitter Board of Directors accountable for breaching their fiduciary duty."

Desantis is backing Elon's decision and is going after Twitter's board of directors. Being a Florida native I trust any decision Desantis backs.

I'm leaning towards white hat territory with Elon.

Musk is now offering $46.5 billion, which is a $3.5 billion increase over his previous offer.

This is funny. CNN+ streaming is a total failure due to lack of demand, and closing their doors just one month after launch.

Reminds me how my own little Twitter account (88k followers in Sept 2020, vs CNN's more than 40million) was constantly getting higher engagement on posts than CNN's own Twitter account was.

If Elon does take over... what happens to the brand image of big accounts like CNN that are propped up with MILLIONS of fake accounts... as they get exposed? Remember how Elon already threatened to purge the platform of fake accounts & bots? 👀
