Well look how excellently "women deciding her best interests" has turned out for her and her children. There's rampant single motherhood and divorce, all time high anti-depressant usage and promiscuity, all time low fertility and the complete and total breakdown of family. We live in a broken society full of bitter divorcees with children raised by single mothers. Does that look like prosperity to you? Do you think it's a coincidence women are "free" in the most socially decadent, degenerate and descendant phase of western civilization? No, it's a direct contributor and cause of said decline. It's at the spearhead in supplanting religion of everything great we've lost. Women's freedom means the destruction of family, society is necessarily patriarchal, because without being so it cannot maintain order and cohesion. To undo masculine authority is to undo that order and thereby society itself. Essentially, the cost of your "freedom" is all the nice things we enjoy - for your absolute and unmitigated freedom which you are are woefully ill-equipped to handle undoes and unravels the most basic building block of civilization itself - the family - you are merely too foolish, arrogant and stupid to effectively appreciate as such. If you see masculine authority as evil, know female freedom is a far greater one if we are to measure the effects of each on the prosperity of the whole. There's a reason all major religions have placed strict social restrictions on women since the dawn of time - and that is quite simply because women's freedom stops us all from having nice things. Limiting that freedom is not only righteous, but an imperative, and the more people who are rational and wise enough to realise that, rather than sentimentally opposed to it - the better.
