Ik word hier zo moedeloos van. Ik heb vrienden in Orange County, met kleine kinderen, recht aan het strand. En dat strand is daar zo prachtig. Ik heb ze gemaild of ze wel jodium nemen en of er daar wel iets in het nieuws is. Aan de ene kant hoop ik dat Amerika zich met Fukushima gaat bemoeien, aan de andere kant denk ik laat ze er wegblijven misschien maken ze het met opzet nog erger?

 
Wat me ook net te binnen schiet, het kan bijna geen toeval zijn dat die centrale in de zee staat te lekken, terwijl wat de mens juist beschermt tegen die straling uit de zee komt.

 
Ik heb net een vriendin in California gesproken, ze horen daar helemaal niks op het nieuws over straling in San Francisco, ze was helemaal verbaasd toen ik vroeg wat ze er daar op het nieuws over te vertellen hebben. De grootste headlines daar gaan over Rusland zegt ze.

Denk je echt dat de top in Amerika geen idee heeft wat voor ramp dit is? Er zit absoluut een agenda achter en de burger is degene die de dupe is. Tegen dit soort rampen kan je je niet weren met een druppeltje meer of minder jodium. Je zal moeten zorgen dat je hele systeem ontzettend sterk is. Ik ben bang dat er nog maar weinigen van ons zover zijn.

 
Nee natuurlijk denk ik dat niet. Ik hoop alleen dat mensen (ook amerikanen) zich laten horen en zo afdwingen dat er specialisten zich met die ramp gaan bezig houden, ipv japanse daklozen met een rol duct-tape.

 
Nou ja, alles lijkt me beter als daklozen met duct-tape. Er is al sprake geweest van beton, wat ze in tsjernobyl gedaan hebben, dat had helemaal in het begin schijnbaar nog gekund. Ik heb ook wel eens wat gelezen over een muur van ijs, er zijn noodoplossingen voor zoiets, schade zal er altijd zijn maar die moet toch te beperken zijn. Nu vliegen japanse reporters die kritische vragen stellen de gevangenis in en mensen mogen weer zwemmen op de japanse stranden want alles is zogezegd onder controle.

It's a hard one to call. I suspect that in 2014, the ball is in Japan's court. What will they do? If the US doesn't stay out of the way of that action, then we are insane, too.

That said, I stick by my story from last year's forecast: Japan's ultimate destination is to "go medieval." They're never going to recover from Fukushima, their economy is unraveling, they have no fossil fuels of their own and have to import everything, and their balance of payments is completely out of whack. The best course for them will be to just throw in the towel on modernity. Everybody else is headed that way, too, eventually, so Japan might as well get there first and set a good example.

By "go medieval" I mean re-set to a pre-industrial World Made By Hand level of operation. I'm sure that outcome seems laughably implausible to most readers, but I maintain that both the human race and the planet Earth need a "time out" from the ravages of "progress," and circumstances are going to force the issue anyway, so we might as well kick back and get with the program: go local, downscale, learn useful skills, cultivate our gardens, get to know our neighbors, learn how to play a musical instrument, work, dine, and dance with our friends.

Ik vindt het absoluut onbegrijpelijk, en eigenlijk ook hoe wij als wereld erop reageren. Hoe bang waren we niet toen met Tsjernobyl? De koeien moesten naar binnen en alles leek besmet te zijn. En nu? Nu gaat de hele wereld door alsof er niets gebeurd is. Ik sta er zelf ook te weinig bij stil. Lamgeslagen? Je kan zeggen wat je wil, maar het lukt "ze" steeds beter om de massa te controleren en als makke schapen in dit geval naar de zee te drijven.

Dus eerst worden we allemaal met voeding vergiftigd, vervolgens gooien ze lucht vol met fijnstof en chemtrailzooi. De aarde zelf wordt al jaren verkracht voor haar grondstoffen, regenwoud dat ons voorziet van zuurstof is bijna helemaal weg. En nu het water. Dus alle levensgebieden die we nodig hebben om te leven zijn vervuild.

En ondertussen probeer ik zoveel mogelijk rommel uit mijn systeem te gooien.... Maar ik hou maar voor ogen, dat die ene cel in mijn lichaam die helemaal optimaal functioneert, dat die de rest van mijn cellen "besmet". En op dezelfde manier ben ik een rader in het organisme mensheid en zo zal ik anderen besmetten.

 
Ik heb 2 Amerikanen op mijn fb. Geen idee waar ze wonen, maar zal de links delen. Je weet nooit hoe een koe een haas vangt!
