Official Statement issued by the leadership of the Resistance Committees in Palestine and its military arm, the Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades:
"With great sadness, sorrow and pain, and with all pride and honor, the leadership of the Resistance Committees in Palestine and its military arm, the Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, mourn the martyr, the great leader, the pearl of the resistance, its crown and its beacon.
His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, who ascended in a cowardly, treacherous and hateful assassination operation in the southern suburb of Beirut, to join his great martyred comrades as a shining moon and a glowing lamp illuminating the path of freedom and liberation, to light the flame of holy revenge on the walls of Jerusalem, which he loved and worked tirelessly to purify from the filth of the usurping Zionists, so that it could return to the embrace of the pure and great Islam.
We offer our condolences to the great Lebanese people, our beloved brothers, the crowns of heads and makers of the nation’s glory and ancient pride, the heroes of the Islamic Resistance in Hezbollah, and all the cadres, leaders and fighters of the resistance in Hezbollah and the great Lebanese resistance, and all the free men of the nation and its components, on the martyrdom of one of the leaders and free men of the nation, who will be immortalized by generations as the one who said we will not leave Gaza alone, and he was true to his promise, action and words.
Assassinations have proven in the history of our long struggle with the Zionist entity of crime, terrorism and genocide that they do not decide battles or achieve strategic victories, but rather their impact on the souls, minds and will of the fighters is counterproductive and instills in their souls the desire for revenge, defiance and the continuation of the path on the same approach and road.
