Hoe komt het trouwens dat uitgerekend Zuid-Afrika deze zaak heeft aangespannen. Daar is volgensmij een behoorlijke deepstate actief.

Ik gok dat dit temaken heeft met hun BRICS-lidmaatschap. Ik hoorde ooit dat Zuid-Afrika's lidmaatschap van de BRICS deels symbolisch is omdat de BRICS dan een voet heeft in Afrika. Dus het gaat minder om de staat van de Zuid-Afrikaanse economie. Nu heeft dat land de kans om zich ook als diplomatieke grootmacht te ontwikkelen en dan de BRICS meer te bieden.
