Tijd voor weer een positieve ervaring met het Cutler protocol. Goed voor d'n moraal!
My story.
I have been very ill with lymphocytic colitis for about 15-20 years. For much of that time I have been close to incontinent and have experienced a lot of pain and malise. I also had many other symptoms that I did not connect to my autoimmune disease such as insomnia, tinnitus, sciatica so bad that it kept me up at night, arthritis, facial tics, struggling liver, eczema, hair falling out to name a few. Although mood disorders are common among the heavy metal toxic that is one symptom that I appear thankfully to have missed out on.
I began my search for health by switching to a gluten, dairy, corn and soy free diet. That helped the arthritis a bit but my other symptoms began to worsen.
Then I tried the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD). Shortly after beginning the diet my digestive symptoms disappeared and I felt completely cured for a miraculous 6 months. During this time I began oil pulling with my amalgams in (DON'T EVER DO THIS!!!!). I believe now that the oil pulling with my amalgams in is what caused my toxic bucket to overflow---so to speak. My digestion starting falling apart. I started reacting to all of the foods that I had previously tolerated and got sicker and sicker.
Now tolerating only a small handful of foods ( beef, chicken, eggs, carrots, squash and small amounts of homemade almond milk yogurt) my scd group pointed me to this fdc group and I began chelating.
Chelating was very difficult at first. I struggled to tolerate the supporting supplements and had to slowly increase my doses. Basically my body has had issues with anything that I have swallowed for 2 decades so why should supplements be any different?
My symptoms began to improve. I have to look back to my notes to even remember what some of them were now! But my digestion and liver were still an ever worsening mess. I honestly felt that if all I got out of chelation was an end to insomnia, arthritis, sciatica and tinnitus then I was more than happy to have chelated. My digestion has just been so bad for so long I didn't dare hope that I could reverse my ugly auto-immune disease.
I have been chelating 22 months and am on round 74. I am a very conservative chealtor. I am still at 25 mg ALA and also use 20 mg DMSA monthly as I have high lead. Just recently I have switched from 4 day chelation weekly to longer rounds which usually last about 12 days. I recommend it highly.
Recently I had to take a month break while we underwent a big move. As has been noted here many times a break from chelation can consolidate your gains. Sure enough my digestion is so much improved (after 2 decades of steady decline). My insomnia, sciatica, tinnitus and arthritis are a memory. My liver is doing great. I'm adding all kinds of new foods and my body is just fine with it! After 3 years eating the same 6 foods every day it's like a miracle. I went to the optometrist and even my eyesight has improved! And my hair has stopped falling out.
So I just want to encourage all of you to chelate, chelate, chelate. Take all of your supporting supplements in proper doses. This process takes time but wow healing is absolutely priceless.
YES! Dat superbeperkte dieet wat zij ook beschrijft, kan ik missen als kiespijn.
